We're the Aboriginal outlaws, live and direct fron the heart of The Rez, and we love to yuk it up, it's our bread and butter. Occasionally we do stop with dick jokes and actually talk about some real shit.
Today's guest keeps it really real, street level, peering into the darkness. When we say direct action, this is what we mean, in the trenches, slugging it out, battling monsters and Tina Point is one fine example.
Dear listeners far and wide, many don't know about our rez, it's a geographical oddity, there's a few international, provincial, and state borders right on top of us. We fall in between Quebec, Ontario, and New York State, while it's all Mohawk Nation. This set of circumstances creates interesting legal situations, some beneficial, some not so much.
Today we peer into the shadows where some of the most vulnerable have landed, and speak with one individual who puts out a hand, gives a lift, and tries to make a difference.
Tina Point works with Unity Street Help and she's going to tell us about our local homeless situation, trafficking, and addictions in our community and in the surrounding communities, where they intersect and and what she's doing to help.
Your Outlaws for once are mostly speechless in this eye opening episode. Come along for the ride.
