We have a bright future ahead of us, as we clamber out of the rubble of history and into our bright new future. We build that future now, the choices we make today will carry forward, and maybe even determine if our communities in our cultures survive, thrive, or wither way into nothing.
Once again Joshua and Isaac sit down to talk election time. The United States is at it again with a crazy 90° turn since last we sat down, and a new contender in the ring. So much time has passed that the MCA is having another election, 2024 part deux, the deux over; they took a mulligan in the last one and here we are again. 
 
Sage Against the Machine, a podcast dedicated to ideas, philosophy, criticism, conjecture, and discussion towards the future of Akwesasne, of Haudenosaunee, and the larger Indigenous world.

Akwesasne has several forms of governance and leadership, spanning lines drawn on the land by conquerors and plunderers, cultural differences, and competing beliefs. The Canadian Band Council managing the "northern portion" of our community held it's regular election, and things went sideways. On this episode Isaac and Joshua discuss.
